a quick update

hello loves!! haven’t posted in a while <3 firstly, i hope everyone’s doing well. i simply want to say thank you for all the support for this blog - i started it in november last year, and it feels quite crazy that it’s almost been a year. so much else has happened in my life, but tumblr feels like a small space of my own that i’m happy to share with my readers, and i’m really grateful for the community. also, i recently hit 1000 followers, which does feel quite surreal (i never thought i’d reach it) thank you for loving the dreamies and my work as much as i do - i still can’t quite believe people on the internet are willing to read my endless word vomit.

on that note, i feel like my inspiration for my work is directly correlated to how much i’m into a group at some point, and recently i just haven’t been keeping up with dream as much - i’ll chalk it up to a stressful exam season, a bunch of other projects that i’m juggling and have to manage in the coming month, and also the fact that i’m currently getting into zb1 (i only have the influence of my friends to thank for that). basically, there’s a lot dividing my attention right now unfortunately and as much as i love the dreamies still, my ideas for writing in general have dried up a little. i never want to deliver work that i don’t feel happy with or get absolutely caught up in writing.

nevertheless, i’m quite sure that this is temporary - it’s not the first time it’s happened, and i always find myself getting back into the dreamies at some point every few months and finding inspiration to churn out content once again. still, i just wanted to let everyone know, because i felt scared that it might be disappointing since some of you were looking forward to my promised new works after my exams finished. they’re still in progress, i promise - just that it’ll be a bit slower.

i wouldn’t call this a hiatus, and i doubt I’ll ever leave tumblr - just that it might take a while. in the meantime, i may release some older stuff that i have lying around once i get it brushed up, and i want to thank everyone for your patience!

i definitely want to find a way to celebrate hitting 1k too, so let me know if you have any ideas. do send in asks anytime, I’ll still be active to respond!! i can’t promise requests will be fulfilled immediately, but you can always scream about the dreamies in my inbox/about whats going on with you guys/ask me anything about myself!
